A question for all of the fashionable vegans with nice hair. Would you be willing to pay about 20 dollars for 6oz of well made water based pomade?
I got to give my boy James a cut at work yesterday. He came in looking like a hippy, I let him leave looking a little more classic.

Nothing is more beautiful than a barber chair from the early 20th century.
My boss asked me to start an instagram for the shop follow @oldetymebarbers for random tonsorial artistry and barber bullshittery from a New York shop that’s been here for 87 years.
I came home from California to find a package with my first pair of big boy shears in it.
These little monsters make the hair fall off without even closing the shears… They scare the hair off.

I got an empty chair at olde Tyme barbers on 41st and lex, feel free to come in and ask for Matthew!
Come on through for a sharp cut or a clean shave!

Anonymous asked: Can you deal with Brylcreem in a guy's hair? I live in NYC and most shops make me wash it out before giving me a trim.
I can deal with brylcreem, it doesn’t mean that I enjoy it. It leaves your hands a mess and gums up every comb that is run through your hair. Personally when I know I’m getting my haircut I show up with all product rinsed out of my hair, I feel like that is just good customer etiquette.
